Policies

1What I collect

• When you contact me, ask a question or make an account: your name, email, phone, address (for home visits) and what you need help with.
• When you book and pay: your visits, tokens, hours and receipts. Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see your full card or bank number.
• When you visit the site: my own server counts page visits and button clicks without names. A referral link may save a small cookie so the right friend gets credit. Signing in uses a cookie to keep you signed in (up to 90 days if you choose "Remember this device").
• During a visit: I may see things on your devices. I only look at what's needed for the job and I don't copy your personal files.

2How I use it

To help you, schedule and remind you about visits, send receipts and sign-in links, track tokens and rewards, and answer questions. If you join my email or text list, I'll send tips and news. You can unsubscribe anytime.

3Who else handles it

Only the services that run the business: Stripe (payments, and pay-over-time providers Klarna or Afterpay if you choose them), Netlify and Render (website and account hosting), Cloudflare and Resend (email delivery), and Google (email). They may only use your information to provide their service. I share information if the law requires it.

4Your choices

You can ask to see, fix or delete your information at any time by texting or emailing me. Some records, like payment receipts, may need to be kept for taxes.

5Kids

This site is meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. Big changes will be announced on the site or by email.

1What I do

I give one-on-one tech help (at your home, by video or by phone) and tech and AI consulting for small businesses. I work on your own devices and accounts, with your permission.

2Prices

• Home help is paid with tokens: 1 token = $75. Packs: 1 for $75, 3 for $199, 5 for $315, 10 for $595.
• Business help is $175 per hour. Consults: Quick Audit $295, Strategy Session $695, Deep-Dive Scoping $1,500.
• Monthly business plans: Essentials $349, Growth $699, Pro $1,299, Unlimited $2,499. Extra plan hours are $150.
• Website development is quoted up front after a free consult.
• There are no travel fees.
• Prices may change. A change never affects tokens or plans you have already paid for.

3Paying

• Checkout is run by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
• Ways to pay at checkout: credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Cash App Pay and Link.
• Pay over time with Klarna or Afterpay may be offered for some purchases. Approval is decided by that provider, not by me, and their own terms apply.
• Businesses can ask for an invoice with net terms (for example, due in 15 or 30 days), payable online by card.

4Business help

• Business help is $175 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.
• Need more time? We can build a plan that fits, starting with a free 15-minute consult.
• Projects are quoted up front.

5Tokens, rewards and credits

Tokens never expire. Referral rewards are half a token or $35 per qualified referral (a referred friend who completes a first paid session), paid as account credit or as cash by Cash App, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. Bonus tokens, game rewards, coupons and promos have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may end at any time without affecting tokens you paid for. One coupon or promo per order unless it says otherwise. I may cancel rewards gained by cheating or fake referrals.

6Booking and cancelling

• Please book at least 24 hours ahead.
• Cancel or move a visit with 24 hours' notice or more at no cost.
• Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice, or not being home at the visit time (a no-show), costs a flat $50 fee every time.

7Your part

• Please back up anything important before a visit, or ask me to help you do it first.
• You confirm you own, or have permission to work on, the devices and accounts we touch.
• You may type in your own passwords. I will never ask for your password or card number by email or text.
• Please keep the visit safe and respectful. I can end a visit that isn't.

8My part and limits

• I'll do careful, honest work and explain things in plain English.
• Tech can be unpredictable. I can't promise every problem can be fixed, or that old hardware, outside software or internet providers will work the way we'd like.
• I'm not responsible for problems caused by other companies' products or services, or for data that was not backed up. Advice about AI tools and online services is general guidance, not legal, financial or medical advice.

9Your account

Keep your sign-in email private. You can close your account anytime by texting or emailing me. I may close accounts that are misused.

10Disagreements

If something goes wrong, please contact me first. Most things can be fixed with a quick text or email.

11Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Big changes will be announced on the site or by email.

1Tokens

1 token = $75. A quick fix is 1 token, a standard visit (75 to 90 minutes at home, or 1 hour remote) is 2 tokens, and a complex job is 3 tokens. Tokens and never expire.

• All sales final: tokens are not refundable unless no service was provided. Tokens stay good forever.
• Bonus or reward tokens (game rewards or promos) have no cash value.
• Referral rewards are $35 (cash or account credit) or half a token per qualified referral. A reward already paid out cannot be refunded.

2Booking, cancelling and late fees

• Book at least 24 hours ahead.
• Cancel or reschedule with 24 hours' notice or more and your tokens go right back into your account.
• With less than 24 hours' notice, or if no one is home at the visit time, a flat $50 fee applies every time.
• If I need to cancel, your tokens are always returned in full.

3Short on tokens

If you don't have enough tokens for a finished visit, I'll use what's in your account first. Each customer gets one "short on tokens" pass: your balance can go below zero one time, and your next purchase pays it back first. After that, the pass is available again.

4Business help

• Hourly business help ($175/hour) is billed in 15-minute increments. Hours already worked are not refundable.
• Quick Audit ($295), Strategy Session ($695), Deep-Dive Scoping ($1,500): full refund if you cancel 48 hours or more before we start. Once the work has started, they are not refundable. The Deep-Dive fee is credited toward a project if you start one within 30 days.
• Website development: payment and refund terms for each project are written into its own up-front quote.

5Monthly business plans

Essentials ($349), Growth ($699), Pro ($1,299) and Unlimited ($2,499) are billed monthly. Cancel anytime: cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep your plan until the end of the month you already paid for. Months already started are not refunded. Plan hours don't roll over. Extra hours are $150 each.

6Free help

The free 15-minute consult and chatting with me are always free. You will never be charged for them.

7How to ask for a refund

Call or text 763-329-5464 or email kingatlas@kingatlas.com. If no service was provided, refunds go back to the way you paid, through Stripe, and usually show up in 5 to 10 business days. For pay-over-time purchases, the provider (Klarna or Afterpay) adjusts your plan.
